A: They are made in India. The are heavy duty for the price a very good buy.

A: This is heavy cotton canvas and has not been treated for water resistance.

**Q: Do these meet astm d6554 standard?**
A: I don't know the answer; but they are very nice sturdy bags;  you could use it for multiple purposes.

The heavy fabric of the bag appears to be durable. Zipper is good quality. I ordered two of them (2 different colors) and am using them to store miscellaneous items for my ukulele (1st bag) and for my violin (2nd bag); items such as spare strings, metronome, tuners, picks, various small tools, etc. They are ideal for this purpose; just the right size.

    Perfect for Hair Trimming Equipment!

I've had several of these bags in the past quarter century. Older ones were of heavier canvas (of course). However, this one is still excellent. Sturdy. Blue is nice. And the size is just right for the hair trimming equipment I carry outside to buzz-cut my hair in the back yard (since 2020 pandemic leave from my barber). I'll order another when needed.

I bought this to carry a few items to my woodworking class, headphones, rulers, eye protection.  It's a perfect size for small items like that. It's a nice bag, it's sturdy looking and appears well made. I'm uncertain about if it's water resistant because I just bought it, but it's pretty thick and would take a bit to penetrate.  Good value!
