The lightweight, alloy step over mountain bike frame (20kg) is equipped with central mounted 36V 8.8Ah or 14ah lithium battery. This puts the weight low down and adds to the maneuverability and riding comfort. Tektro is one of the leading brands of bike disc brakes, and the MD-M280 disc brakes are no exception to their reputation for light yet solid stoppers. The 7-speed drivetrain is made by Shimano. Despite electric bikes reputation of being cheater bikes, you are very much the primary power source in moving it about - with a good choice of ratios you should be able to tackle most hills and light tracks. Its LED display shows you just what you need as you flick between the 3 riding speed settings.
