If you follow the instructions, it shouldn’t burn. You have to use half or low power when microwaving it. I believe the instructions said to warm for 30 second intervals. The heat remained for 30 mins, then I just popped it back in the microwave. It allows you to walk from room to room instead of being tied to one spot with a hair dryer.
