It has an open/close function that can be operated at its handle, where the spreading quantity can also be adjusted. The cover slide with its seal lip seals the spreader container so well that nothing slips out when it is stationary or being filled or after use. The special scattering roller in the GARDENA Spreader L distributes the spreading material evenly and cleanly and on where it is supposed to go. The spreader can be cleaned easily with water. The only thing with this is the instructions couldve been better and more helpful especially for those people being a novice with seeding a lawn I feel. However no doubt lots of helpful advice online and via their customer services. Just needs to be included in the wrapping on this seeder. If this had been inc I wouldve given 5 stars.

Did the trick, personally I find Gardena products well made, reliable and longevity you can rely on and am hoping thr same will be said of this seeder. The only thing with this is the instructions couldve been better and more helpful especially for those people being a novice with seeding a lawn I feel. However no doubt lots of helpful advice online and via their customer services. Just needs to be included in the wrapping on this seeder. If this had been inc I wouldve given 5 stars.
