It was a super easy installation even for someone like me who has never installed a NATO strap before. Seems pretty durable so far. Great strap! One unexpected thing I like: the buckle happens to position up high on the inner side of my wrist, (see photo #2). What this does, is it prevents the watch from spinning to the outside of my wrist, as what happens with plastic bands and steel bracelets; meaning, it stays centered properly on my wrist. With other straps, I'm constantly having to twist my watched toward me to read them. One last cool thing: if the extra band hangs out too much for you, you can just tuck it over and under the last strap keeper. This strap has changed my watch from something I never liked to wear, to a watch I will actually use now.
