Could I use them at the beach in the water?** A: I bring mine in the pool all the time, they float but fill up with water pretty easily. **Q: do these curve if you keep practicing over and over or is it a rip off** A: You don't even need to practice much.. My son gets a nasty curve on it and I can even get it to curve.. Not a rip off at all.. **Q: does this ball tell you where to place your fingers like the swerve ball does?** A: It does not, but in my opinion the Blitzball is a much better product. We have both. The Swerve ball is made of much harder plastic that tends to crack more easily. The Blitzball has more "give" like a traditional whiffle ball which makes it easier to handle and bat. The guide that comes with the Swerve ball is nice, but once you learn the grips, the Blitzball is much, much better in my opinion. **Q: Would playing with these Blitz Balls mess up pitching with a real baseball for my 10 year old son? He pitches for his travel team sometimes.** A: The ball can actually be thrown just like a baseball only it has much more movement. It really is justbfor fun to see how much the ball can actually move.
