But it does work and is pretty bright. Although I don't know how it would compare to the original. **Q: How do you charge the batteries, do you have to take them out or can you plug them into a car charger?** A: The charger plugs in to a 110volt outlet. Then it is plugged into a connector mounted in the headband. A small inverter could be used in a car. **Q: Can the light be used and 'on' while charging?
