Review: Brighter and More Vibrant Skin - I purchased DMAE from this company for a DIY skin care project and was able to choose another product of my choice from their line for review purposes. I had no idea that I would receive this perk when I made my purchase, but was quite pleased, as you can imagine. HA was on Want List, so I chose it. In all honesty, I was so pleased with the quality of the DMAE that I would gladly have paid for this purchase. I wanted to make a serum to use use both night and day. I did my due diligence and researched Google, YouTube and Pinterest before choosing a recipe. My first sample batch was a fail, because I either did not add enough water (I chose Orange Blossom to tszuj it up a bit) or added too much product. The batch turned out to be more of a thick gel, rather than a serum. I tried applying it in that form and it was not bad at first. However, it started to sort of 'roll up' in some areas. It was evident that the product was too thick. No problem. I kept adding one tablespoon of the Orange Blossom water and placing it in the fridge for 20 minutes or so and stirring. The final perfect recipe for me is 4 tablespoons of COLD water and 1/4 teaspoon of HA powder. Since I planned to keep it in the fridge to extend the life of the product anyway, I did so. In the morning I had an absolute perfect serum. On the upside, my original failed batch proved to me that this truly was a miracle hydration product that would attract moisture to my skin. Application - I purchased a very inexpensive pump container (photo below). One pump dispenses the exact amount of product that I need. After washing my face and using toner, I apply one pump to my face. It is immediately absorbed and leaves zero residue of any sort. You would be fine to wear this alone on a no makeup day and it would not be detected. There is no smell and the product itself is totally clear. Shelf Life - I do not add preservatives to my DIY products, as that would defeat part of the purpose of making my own. I will use vitamin E as a natural preservative to many products, but did not want to add it it to this one. I already use it in my primer and facial setting and refresher sprays. I don't want to look like an oil slick by day's end. This recipe made a small batch, but I still think this will be too much product for two week's use. I may cut the recipe in half next time. Packaging - The packaging is well sealed and its quality assures me that the product itself is of high quality and has not been exposed in packing or shipping. It is clearly labels with supplement facts, warnings, measurements, ingredients, expiration and manufactured dates, storage suggestion and lot number in case of a recall. I really can't think of anything more that I could require or want from a product. This 10 gram (0.35 ounce) packet will last me a very long time. The expiration date is a year away. I may have to incorporate it into my eye creams in order to not waste any due to the expiration date. That is a good problem to have. Who does not want more moisture in their eye area. This is a definite annual repeat purchase. The photo below is untouched and makeup free after a week of twice daily use. As a caveat, I am 57. This should be considered before making any snap judgements about whether my skin looks radiant or healthy in general. UPDATE - I was so pleased with the results of my skin that I started using this in conjunction with DMAE in my under eye and on the outer corners, with the intent of bringing additional moisture to this area. The third photo below is after three weeks of using this product twice a day. May 12, 2017 I am down to my last small batch and am online to purchase my first refill, as I tried going three days without it and was displeased. My 5 star rating remains true. Recipe and Tip: Always use very cold water to make (I use refrigerated distilled water that I have previously added a couple of drops of Esential Orange Oil to). A wide mouth flatter container is preferred, ergo an empty eye cream jar. I say this because I find the product mixes much easier if you evenly sprinkle the powder over the entire surface of the cold water. Also, do NOT stir until the product has had a chance to mix on its own in the fridge. I leave mine in the fridge over night and continue to store it in this way. I found stirring when initially mixed the two ingredients together caused the product to get lumpy on some areas. I used a chop stick to stir/beat the lumps out. It is a royal pain, but a great arm work out. **Add water to container first. 2 tablespoons of COLD water + 1/4 teaspoon of H/A powder. You can double for more product, but I prefer smaller batches to maintain freshness and efficacy. Note, I also add my Vitamin C serum and a couple drops of Rosehip oil to a small amount of this mixture into the palm of my hand, mix with my finger and then apply. If you are using alone, you may prefer more or less water. This works perfect for me and does not affect my makeup application, including foundation. If it sort of rolls up on your skin, you need to add more water and place in the fridge for a bit before re-stirring. **Photo #4 was taken May 21, 2017, after 13 months of daily night time use.
Review: Great for making serums - This is perfect. I mainly use this to make my own hyaluronic serum. I put some in distilled water and put it in the fridge overnight. I use it all over my face, body, and hair. It’s one of my secrets to plump dewy skin. It’s fragrance free, and tasteless if you are drinking it. It’s a great price for the amount you get.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How to use it? eat, drink, daub or something?**
A: Hyaluronic acid powder has a use for joints etc. that I know nothing aboutHowever for your complexion it is the only product I would use along withascorbic acid (Vit C) The expensive serums you can buy for anti aging are crap. for best results the vit. c serum needs to be separate. wash face at night, pat face dry, use c serum on face and neck. let dry for a bit, ten min. at least, This is your exfoliate, rejuvenating your skin, then pat on hyaluronic acid over it, let dry, This is bringing moisture to the surface of your skin. apply some moisturizer and repeat nightly. I personally don't trust any anti aging creams, so while you are doing this treatment I would stay simple and use, coconut oil, olive oil. coconut oil is the best! it penetrates your skin and is just over all awesome I have used it on my entire body for years. vit. C does not work well mixed with the hyaluronic acid and that is how all the anti aging products come. Has bad reaction to some preservatives used in expensive anti aging c serums and only has a working potency of about a week. so you want to use separately, and use it fresh and save money by making it yourself. You will need distilled water, the powders, I personal use glycerin/distilled water mix in my c solution for a serum texture. small dark bottles (pk of six on amaxon with droppers work great) make your two solutions and keep in frig. you will have the best you can buy for much less and it will actually work. you can add a bit more ascorbic acid as your skin gets use to it but always be careful of how much, like I said more is not better with c, it will burn your skin. here is my recipe. Hyaluronic acid recipe: 3/8 tsp. of powder 2 Tbls.Distilled water in a dark sm. bottle to protect it. shake up and keep in frig. (you can add 1/4 tsp. vit. b powder to hyaluronic acid if you want it better, I haven't done that yet. The fresher the better, last a good week and the recipe seems small but doeslast a long time. Ascorbic acid recipe: More is not better with vit. C start outwith a five percent solution, and don't exceed 20 percent. there are websites that give a more scientific methodology but this will get you started. 1/4 tsp of ascorbic acid powder to just under 5 tsp. distilled water. you can mix couple tsp of glycerin couple tsp. distilled water if you want a more textured serumTip: for easy mixing, worth buying small medicine bottle funnels that way you can pour powder, water, glycerin, etc. into the bottle and shake in bottle and be done with it. if you mix glycerin in wrong powder it will not work. turns into a solid thin plastic. only for ascorbic acid. I hope this helps.

**Q: Is product manufactured in USA? If no then where?**
A: The country of origin is China ... packaging & distribution is handled by Bulk Supplements ("BS") in Nevada, which will provide a copy of the Analysis Report on request (use chat room on co's website to request). However, it should be noted that the Analysis Reports are questionable, since the bottom of each report explicitly states the Analysis can be conducted by the supplier ... which would definitely be self serving. When questioned, the company was unable (or unwilling) to identify exactly where the Analysis in the report was conducted, and by whom. Very disappointing.

**Q: I only have teaspoons and tablespoons. how can I measure what one gram will be?**
A: Same question I had when I received product - thank goodness for the internet. The correct dosage for 200 mgs is 1/16 teaspoon. I mix it into yogurt along with my powder collagen supplement with no issues. Is tasteless and mixes well. My late night snack. Amazon has several measuring spoon sets that include ones for 1/16 teaspoon if needed. I needed so I ordered.

**Q: Is this Hyaluronic Acid powder plant or animal sourced?**
A: I sent an e-mail to them a few days ago and asked what plant was used and they sent back "Hyaluronic acid is fermented from Corn Glucose. "

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ AWESOME!!!
*by K***N on January 28, 2024*

There is some incorrect information in a few of these reviews. To clarify.... the manufacturer says that this is a low molecular weight form of hyuloronic acid. Which makes sense as right on the front packaging.... it is called sodium hyaluronate, which is known as a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid. The lower the weight.... the deeper the penetration into the skin.... the higher the weight, the more superficial the effects. "And depending on the molecular weight, the effect on the skin varies as well. Such that, hyaluronic acid with low molecular weight (LMW-HA), also known as sodium hyaluronate, easily absorbs and penetrates the deepest layers of your skin. This means low molecular weight Hyaluronic acid (LMW-HA) provides intense moisture and sustained hydration deep in the skin. The effect of sodium hyaluronate can plump the skin and reduce the look of fine lines and wrinkles. As the hyaluronic acid molecule gets bigger and the molecular weight higher, hyaluronic acid thus remains closer to the surface of the human skin. A high molecular weight Hyaluronic acid (HMW-HA) delivers the most visible results, but with a shorter life-span. And, the results can be washed away with a simple face cleansing." I also found at least one study showing that a lower molecular weight hyaluronic acid showed a statistically significant improvement in knee joint pain. I am no doctor... so I can't really recommend anything, but... What I can say, from my own personal experience... that it has done for me, after taking 1/8 tsp twice a day for about 3 weeks (dissolved in 1/4 cup water moving quickly with a small wisk as I very ... very slowly sprinkle it in and then drink it.... I feel like a new person... any joint pain is for all intents and purposes, gone.... my dry eyes are dramatically improved.... my acid reflux is basically gone! I'm not sure about my skin yet... it's only been about 3 weeks (the main study I reviewed showed results after 12 weeks) but I couldn't be happier... I am thrilled!
