Still as good as when first watched ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After so many years *by S***E on 7 May 2014* I cant believe I have this in my basket. This movie was one of my favourite movies when I was a kid. its different to others, its not a cartoon and it has a very unique story with a huge amount of interesting characters. I am buying this for my nieces but I will certainly be sitting down to watch it myself too. It has been a very long time since I have seen this.As far as I remember this movie is about a kid Bastian, who gets his hand on a book, a very special book. he sits down to read it and it all comes to life and you get to experience the wonderful world of fantasia. will it be saved by Atreyu or will everything be ripped away in the end from "the nothing"?I will say that there are some very sad scenes in this. I will never forget the Artex scene in the swamp it almost ripped my soul out and have no doubt it would do the very same if I watched it now today. Its such a helpless scene and you cant do anything but watch it happen. No amount of years could ever wipe that scene from my memory.I am not looking forward to seeing Morla (sneezing turtle thing) it freaked me out, even more then Gmork (Control freak wolf).I am really looking forward to seeing the rest of it though. This was truly one of the most memorable, energised movies of my childhood. The images are so deeply imprinted in my brain that i will probably remember every second when I see it. There is a lot of excitement and yelling in many of the scenes so you spend a lot of time holding your breath waiting to see if they make it or not.Imagine if this actually happened to all people who read books. The world would be so different. I would walk to work one day and see a giant lucky dragon (Valcor) coming towards me.
