This heater came with a 29 gallon setup I won but it did not have suctions cups.** A: Yes, it comes with 1 suction cup. Stay away from this product; spend a little bit more and buy one that has a lifetime warranty and you can set the temperature. **Q: What’s the lifespan of this heater?** A: Mine lasted less than 30 days, unfortunately it was a few days after the return cut off when I noticed this during my 3 week water and filter change **Q: is this a timed heater ? I have been having having trouble with the light turning off** A: I don't know that's it's timed. However initially it will stay at a preset of 78 but later it will start to keep temps of 75-77 depending on what size tank it's in. Also the black paint will chip off.
