This paint isn't anything like what I used to use and I'll never be able to go back. I read a tip from another artist that if you're on a budget, spring for the high end white/black to mix your economy colors with, and it worked out so well for me... but now I'm hooked and have to replace all my colors with Golden brands haha. The texture is very silky, with a consistency like pudding, a perfect thickness for workability without being too thick to spread out. For how many layers of white I used to have to lather on in the past with my old brands, it's worth the price point for sure.
