**Q: When I was a child we made chocolate ice cream using Milnot. I didn't realize there was more than one kind. What kind would we have used back then?**
A: milnot original evaporated filled milk

**Q: What is the expiration date on your cans of Milnot?**
A: Use by date on can is January, 2022 - I purchased these about 3 months ago. A word of warning if you are buying Milnot for a recipe that calls for whipping the Milnot. It used to whip up really nice - this is NOT your mother's Milnot! Could not get this current formulation to whip, not like 20 or so years ago when you could get soft peaks just like whipped cream. I tried whipping it room temp and also very cold - neither worked.

A: Ingredients in Milnot include:  nonfat milk, soybean oil and/or palm oil, soy lecithin, disodium phosphate, carrageenan, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D3.  I took this right off the Milnot can.  There are good recipes on the Milnot site.  Hope this helps.

I don’t know why they took Milnot offered that the shelves in the grocery stores you can’t find it it’s the best evaporated milk that they’ve ever made babies drink it for years along with carnation but it makes the best fudge and it’s the best to bake with and to cook with so you keep it on your shelves

Makes such a wonder, easy cheesecake with no baking. The cake is light, creamy and so much higher than a regular dense cheesecake. Very delicious too and less fattening. I have made cheese cake from milnot for decades. Always a hit.
