But earlier this year I purchased a gallon of liquid crack filler which turned out to be a total waste of money. The results of that liquid filler is shown in the first picture and the Red Devil chaulk repair in the second. When I seal the entire driveway the color will be uniform with no evidence of a crack.

**Q: Will this product prevent weeds/grass growing in sidewalk/driveway “seams”?**
A: I used this two or three years ago. I first pulled any weeds or grass growing in the seam and I am sure I didn't get all of the roots. Then applied this product. Nothing has grown back, yet.  If there are a lot of weeds or grass growing in the seam, maybe use a weed killer first.

**Q: Up to how wide a crack can I fill with this product?**
A: Hi, it is best to stay at a 1/2" or under. If it is a deep crack, add a backer rod 1st so the product will then cure even with the surface. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

**Q: How many LF does one tube fill?**
A: When cutting the tube feeder to about 1/2" I was able to fill about 5-feet of 1/4 to 1/2 crack.

**Q: Can i put it after sealing the driveway for cracks?**
A: Hi, yes you can, but for the best look, I would fill the cracks 1st and then use the coating, it makes the job look even better! Thanks!

I recently used the Red Devil Asphalt Crack Filler Sealant and overall had a really good experience with it. The application process was simple and straightforward, and it did exactly what I needed in sealing up cracks in my driveway. One thing I noticed is that there isn’t a lot of product in the tube, so if you have multiple or larger cracks, you may need to grab more than one. For best results, I highly recommend applying it on a hot day. The product spreads much easier and goes on smoother when the surface is warm. I also learned the hard way not to use it an hour or two before the sun goes down you won’t get a good spread, and it becomes harder to work with as temperatures drop. Overall, it’s a solid product that gets the job done, just make sure to plan your timing and weather conditions right for the best outcome.
