I'm very grateful for their Zetpil line of suppositories. These products help assimilate compounds that cannot otherwise be absorbed as effectively orally. As the other reviewer stated, the melatonin products are especially helpful to prevent swallowing so many capsules. Melatonin is one of several supplements that chelate iron in the body. I am a pharmacist who used to run a medication group for psychiatric patients, and received the question why some respond to lower doses of melatonin, while others don't. this is the likely reason why....because some of us are overloaded with iron. my suggestion would be to experiment with both the 200mg and 400mg products. if the 400mg works for you, great - it's more cost-effective in the long run. I am a hemochromatosis H63D carrier gene with a mother who had either heterozygous or homozygous H63D status, thus I inherited a huge iron overload from her. atoning for that is a lot of expense and hard work. I used to take so many caps of melatonin 10mg or 60mg but happy to have the 400mg supps. I take only 1/2 supp orally, it takes pretty decent. It doesn’t put me to sleep but I can feel the anti inflammatory effects in my brain. So I am happy about that. I do sleep pretty good.
