Works on my Bose series 1 sound dock from either the 3.5mm jack input or the blue tooth. When the adapter is switched off the jack input still works so you only need turn the switch to on if you require to use the Bluetooth. You can also leave the jack in when you turn on at the switch to activate the Bluetooth input and connect to it via your device. Sound is clear, volume is perfectly acceptable, slightly lower perhaps on Bluetooth but not so much it’s an issue.
