The Ewbank Evolution sweeper has the ability to sweep both hard floor types and carpet. It effectively removes pet hair, dirt, and debris. Weighing only 3 lbs. and compact in size, the Evolution 3 is ideal for a quick and effortless cleaning. The Evolution provides a nonelectric and bagless daily alternative to sweeping or vacuuming up dirt, lint, crumbs, and pet hair. With synthetic bristles that effectively gather dust and debris, its wide sweeping path allows for covering more floor area in less time. The lightweight and easily maneuverable sweeper operates quietly, without electricity, and suitable for various settings like dorms, restaurants, and banks, libraries, classrooms, and offices. The disposal lever situated on top, allows for hygienic emptying. Featuring a 9" sweeping path, an adjustable handle up to 4', durable nylon tufted brushes, and a furniture protection bumper. This sweeper works great and isn’t noisy like some others I have purchased. Easy to put together the pole and that’s it. I’d say take care of it if you want it to last a long time. Easy things like emptying it when done and removing any debris which I haven’t had any issues with hair or anything like that. And I have really long hair and 2 dogs and it sweeps it all up with no issue. I use it daily to keep up with the dog hair sometimes twice daily and it’s so easy to use that I don’t mind it at all.

For those with a stick dial for height adjustment, I sprayed a bit of wd40 and it works perfectly now. This sweeper works great and isn’t noisy like some others I have purchased. Easy to put together the pole and that’s it. I’d say take care of it if you want it to last a long time. Easy things like emptying it when done and removing any debris which I haven’t had any issues with hair or anything like that. And I have really long hair and 2 dogs and it sweeps it all up with no issue. I use it daily to keep up with the dog hair sometimes twice daily and it’s so easy to use that I don’t mind it at all.

Quick shipping. Assembled easily until I got to the depth selector. It is stuck on high pile. It still works reasonably well, though you have to go over the same spot several times. It's difficult to empty because the debris doesn't simply fall out, but gets hung up. They probably should have looked at the designs from the 1950s & '60s - those worked. Sorry I left my old one when I moved.
