Review: I love this thing so freaking much! - This is freaking amazing! My cat is an indoor outdoor cat. He has long fur on top of that. Before I found about Seresto, I’ve been using advantage. Advantage is pretty expensive. Four dosages and it costed me the same price as a seresto. What’s worst it only works on fleas and not ticks. I didn’t know about the no tick part until this year. As the weather gets warmer, my cat stays outside longer. He came back with one or two ticks for three days straight. I never have a flea or tick problem until now. Thats when I found out that advantage doesn’t take care of the ticks. It also doesn’t help that my cat has long fur so it’s even harder to spot them. I tried to thoroughly check his coat everyday but I’m worried that what if I miss one. Worse is what if he brings them home and gets it on the bed or something. I did a lot of digging around and see that the ones that does kill ticks are either prescribed by vets or have a relatively low ratings. Then I stumble on Seresto. I heard a lot of people didn’t like it because their cats have adverse reactions to it. I was worried an about the same thing but then say why not try it out. Ever since I got seresto, I have not seen a single tick! I checked the skin around his collar just in case his skin is irritated but so far, roughly 1 month in…no adverse reactions. It works amazing. I put it underneath his other collar and make sure that neither one is too tight. I highly recommend this especially to cats who spend time outdoor. It gives me a lot of reassurance. Helps protect not only your cat but you as well. The price is actually not bad considering that it last 8 months. That’s half the price I would have paid had I use other treatments. I do want to say that you should monitor your cat the first few days to be sure it’s safe for your cat to use. While my cat was fine with it, it could be different for you.
Review: Excellent product. Worth the money! - Worth EVERY dollar! We've been fighting the flea battle for a good year. My cats never go outside, but my sons dog brought them in. We tried the treatment from the vet and every 20 days they'd be back. We forced our son to buy the dog a collar first, then about two weeks later we got one for each cat. It's been about a week and the fleas are GONE. A truly amazing product. I wish every company kept to their word like this one! I HIGHLY recommend Seresto's products!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the price for ONE collar $50? Am I understanding this correctly?**
A: I can't afford to buy 4 of these so I'm considering the cheaper knock off "Salvo" I really don't want to buy this other brand because I've heard some dogs have bad reaction to the knock off but I seriously don't have $200 for 4 dogs!! We are in FL we always have fleas!! Plus Salvo comes 2 pack so it even got cheaper... should I try this other brand? Or maybe if you are reading this Bayer... you could make these much more affordable especially since there is competition and not to mention dogs are going to suffer because low income families can't afford your price tag to care for their pets. I know I have 1 or 2 too many dogs but I love them and they get the best of everything that I can afford and believe me I've done my research on everything to get them everything they need for as inexpensive as I can manage to find.

**Q: Has anyone used this collar on tiny runts AND thickly furred 20+lb long-haireds? Is it equally effective for both?**
A: I've got 4 cats wearing this collar: 1 16 lb. Maine Coon, 1 15 lb. dom. short-hair, 1 12 lb. dom. short-hair, and 1 9 lb. long-haired cat. This is their second set of these collars and they're all indoor-outdoor kitties, plus I live in a heavily wooded area. No ticks, no fleas whatsoever since they started wearing them and there have been no skin problems or irritation at all on any of them. The collars are made to break if they get caught on something.

**Q: Why is the $54.00 collar in a different can than the $36.00 collar? Is the less expensive one a copycat version and is it safe?**
A: I purchased from an eBay seller and it turned out to be a fake. Good price at $35 when I bought the two I needed. I knew something was wrong right away because they smelled very strong of moth balls. all were sealed, but for the past 3 years, buying mostly from well know companies like Petco and PetRX, I've never smelled anything and they've worked wonderfully! I called the 800# for Seresto, they took all of the info from my cans and determined that they were knock offs. They send me a return authorization form and shipping label and are sending me two new collars for supporting the investigation. I'll never try to go that cheap again. I have to buy collars quicker than they're sending them because of the weather, but they assure me they have a shelf life of 5 years if unopened. It's a far better investment than the topical, which is messy, is hard to put on a cat, and that they lick off of each other which worries me. I love these collars and really appreciate the attention and service that Seresto gave me today. hope this helps. it's the first time for me getting caught up in an internet fraud.

**Q: 2 of my cats lay on top of the comforter and the 3rd one likes to snuggle around my neck under the covers. Is that safe for me? Direct contact to me.**
A: I've been using these on my cats for 6 years and we have problems. Before Seresto my cat with flea allergies was in horrid shape. Now she's flea free.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ IT WORKS!!!
*by L***N on September 1, 2023*

If you know anything at all about house cats, you know they’re full of tenacity, and audacity. Once your indoor cat gets a taste of the outdoors, it’s just about impawsible to keep them from wanting to be outside all the time! That’s what happened with my cat The Baroness Meowtilda Von Softiepaws (street name: Tilly). Tilly slipped out the back door when I opened it to let my smelly little dogs out. Of course I freaked out thinking she’d run away and I’d never see her again. But Tilly stayed in the back yard and came inside after a few minutes. I vowed to never let her out again. But 1) she’s a cat with quintessential cat-like reflexes and is better than I am on her worst day, when I’m on my best day. 2) The audacity I mentioned earlier is STRONG in her 3) she DOES NOT like to be picked up/held, or confined in any way, and I value the use of my hands. She’s never been aggressive with me, but I prefer not to make too many waves. So keeping her from slipping outside from time to time was not a job for which I am well equipped. Over time I got more comfortable with it since Tilly always stayed close to the house, and was always in the house over night. She has never been injured on her excursions. Then, we had a big problem. Remember the smelly little dogs? Well they suddenly became smelly AND itchy! And that’s when I saw it. The dreaded flea infestation. The dogs are treated for fleas and ticks, so that meant the harbinger of the plague was feline, in species. Now imagine gentle reader, if Tilly is not the type of cat to allow cuddling, what are the chances she’s the type of cat to allow herself to be bathed with flea soap? Nil. The answer is, nil. Several essential oils sprays, and flea combing sessions later- I had finally eradicated the infestation. Unfortunately Tilly developed some harsh looking ulcers on her skin which the vet advised was due to an allergy related to the flea bites. I felt awful, but I got her ulcers treated and cleared up quickly (thankfully, because they were shocking to look at and I doubt they were comfortable). My vet recommended the Soresto Flea and Tick Collar for several reasons. She said 1) it works, 2) it’s made for cats and dogs, 3) it lasts for up 8 l months. She did say “it’s one of the pricier options…” but she swore by its effectiveness, and said it was worth it the price. Of course this had my anxiety riddled brain thinking these collars cost enough to make me have to decide between purchasing one, or paying my mortgage. Turns out the collars are about $68, and since they’re supposed to last 8 months, that breaks down to about $8.50/month, or ~.28/ day! So I bought one and decided to give it a try. If it didn’t work, I’d know for the future and I would try something else. Well, guess what? IT WORKS! There is no chemical scent to it, it’s made of a flexible rubber type material, and it’s adjustable. I thought I’d have to fight with Tilly to get the collar on her (she prefers to go au naturale), but since the collar is adjustable with a lot of extra length, it was really easy to slip it on her neck and then pull it to tighten it. It helps to have a lickable treat at the ready to occupy your cat, if they’re resistant to being collared. The collar even comes with little plastic reflectors you can attach which is great if your cat goes out in the evenings at all. Tilly scratched at her neck and the collar for the first day or so, but then she accepted it, and now I don’t think she even notices it. I haven’t had a single flea or tick on ANY of my Fuzz Butts since using this collar, and we are going on 3 years. If I had one request, it would be for whoever is in charge to make this an item you can set up as a subscription, and automatically get a new collar every 8 months. I know I forgot to replaces Tilly’s collar for about 10 months (and it still worked!), and I don’t want to take the chance of forgetting again. For now I have a reminder on my phone, along with the reminder to change my air filter and to test my smoke alarms. But it would be much easier if I could get a new one automatically. Other than that- 10/10 recommend and your fuzz butts and sanity will love you for it!
