We had to check with the company that supplies our rock samples, and it took them a bit to get back to us. Buyer needs to be careful when handling. *by A***R on December 23, 2023* Very satisfied with this product overall, would absolutely recommend this vendor and product. However, coal is not a toy, and has inhalation and other hazards if handled unsafely. The packaging for these coal pieces is a sealed plastic ziploc type bag, which is very good. However, mine had small holes poked where the ridges of the coal were, which I didn't expect when I opened the USPS mailer. I suppose the bag was slightly too small for those pieces. That's problematic because coal dust could have leaked out. I would recommend the seller use a larger bag or double wrap in some way to avoid this.
