It has made my adopted blind Labrador Retriever very comfortable in and around his home. I read a negative review before I first bought them a couple years ago in which the reviewer stated they had put them all over the place and they didn't help at all. DON'T put them "all over the place." Put them at significant places such as the edge of the doorway, the top of the stairs, next to the backdoor. My dog knows his key reference points and works from those.
