I was shoveling snow in them within an hour and they're very comfortable, warm, and dry. Not stiff at all out of the box. They feel lightweight but durable. Time will tell how they hold up. First impressions: 1. They are much more comfortable than three other similar pairs I tried from other sites/big box stores. 2. I wear a nine. These fit like a glove. Perfect. 3. The laces run down onto the toe box a bit, so you can tighten them as you wish. 4. The toe box is large enough to use inserts for plantar fasciitis, etc... This is a big plus for me. The inserts actually improved the fit a bit. 5. The leather parts look shineable. They'll look great with a decent polish. 6. The zipper on the side is nice but unnecessary: I find it easier just use the laces when putting them on. The zippers on both boots were a little sticky from a drop of glue that had oozed onto them. However, I replaced it with a Superfeet insole and had zero issues. Highly recommend swapping the insoles. - Leather upper separated from the edges of the rubber sole.
