I do outside events and my feet were sweating by the time I was done. I live in Nebraska.... getting second pair next paycheck. I felt the cold, but my feet were not cold. They are very lightweight and appear to be good quality. Plus, I think they look sharp! I wanted to pick up hiking after having lost 35 lbs - adding some healthy outdoor activities. I wore them around the yard for a few minutes and no complaints other than they seem to be a bit too flat-footed with little arch support, which might impact your knees and feet of you need arch support. It would be nice to have a bit more arch support built-in. If you have a high arch like me, you are already likely accustomed to buying your own arch inserts, but these are REALLY low in arch support compared to most shoes/boots.
