I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this lens because it's half the price of the native Nikkor 105 micro lens. After using now for about 6 months I'm very impressed with the image quality, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it is. However there are a couple of negatives. One, the build quality feels really cheap. Lot's of plastic on this lens. And two, it isn't AF compatible with the FTZ mount for my Z cameras. I don't know if that's and FTZ issue or Tokina issue, but I couldn't find lack of compatibility information anywhere I looked. The AF does however work perfectly fine with my F-mount cameras (D800 and D850). Ultimately image quality is king for me, and that coupled with the price is why this lens gets 4 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent lens! *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2022* Well made.
