The material is a nice heavy weight British waxed cotton, supplied by Halley Stevensons of Dundee, not a cheap foreign import. Stitching is good, with nice tight seams so shouldn't leak. It has a really good quality, lightly quilted lining and a nice three stud vent below the peak, to let the cap breath, but not let in water. It also adds a nice detail to the cap!We ordered a 57 as that is the hat size that my husband wears and the fit is perfect. Delivery was by Royal Mail and it arrived a day early! To sum it up, we have nothing negative to say about the product or the customer service and can only recommend both product and service. Top of the line all round. In fact, I liked my husbands cap so much, I've just ordered a black one for myself!PS. We honestly have nothing to do with the company, have not been offered any product or discount and this is a truely honest review.
