**Q: Does the motor allow for variable speed control**
A: The motor does not allow for a Veraval speed control from it. However, you can install a valve and use the valve to control the amount of air that is released from the blower.

**Q: My blower is flexible 2" od tubing and the housing for the blower is 2 3/8" id or 2 5/8" od. can someone recommend a coupling that is compatible?**
A: You can used a rubber coupling and clamp it

**Q: Want to use in a diy spa build... do I need a check valve so water dies not go back into air pump?**
A: Yes

**Q: Can this blower be mounted vertically?  Blower I am replacing looks identical, but is mounted vertically...**
A: Yes just have to make sure the bottom is able to get air

Had to rewire my plug it was replacing a 220v air blower in my hot tub. Works just as well and is quieter. Will probably buy a second one for my boat vent system which is starting to make noises.
