When I first tried them on, they were pretty tight fitting and, the area around the heel seemed annoyingly low. Was going to send them back but, I decided to wear them for a few days, and make up my mind. Glad I did. These are very comfortable. They've stretched into my fit perfectly. The cushion is just right. Not too spongey, and not hard at all. I'm in an older house, with hardwood floors. I needed something to keep my feet warm, and soften my step. These are perfect. Don't freak if they feel too snug, just give them a few days. The sleeping bag design washed up expertly in the washer, air dried 2 days. Originally bought these in black last week, but the gray area $7 cheaper, no difference in quality, so I bought me and the Mrs. another pair in case Amazon doesn't carry them next year, as what happened with the camping slippers.My wife bought me one size larger, just in case they ran small.
