I had been suffering from ITBS for several months and was worried that I was going to need to cancel an upcoming marathon. I ordered this brace to give it a try. My first run in the brace, I had only minor pain (and had to make minor adjustments to the brace before I learned how to put it on correctly). The second run, I had no paid. I ran in the brace a couple of more times, and then tried to run without it. No pain!! I am still running brace free and pain free. This was, hands down the best purchase I've made. If you are suffering from ITBS, there is no reason not to try this brace. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good Support - Wish They Had A Bigger Size Than Current XL *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2015* I like these knee supports and they really helped during training for a marathon. My only complaint is they run small. I ordered XL's and they feel almost too tight. I get they're for support but another size up would be nice. And I'm 6'3" and 185 dripping wet - not exactly stocky. I'm not sure if they were causing me calf cramps after mile 18 in a couple of marathons or not. But I have my suspicions. So, good to train when your ITB is giving you grief or your need to build up strength but not lose miles. It appears that this model is being replaced by something new, a version where the knee is exposed. I assume there is a reason for the change, but I am trying to get as many of these as I can before they are no longer available. I wear a small (5 3", 112 lbs). Nine times out of 10 I wash it in the sink and let it air dry, but I do occasionally put it in the washer and dryer. I think it helps to keep it from stretching out too much.
