I have found it extremely difficult when buying robes to get the size right. Two reviewers may write the same robe fit them perfectly, and one is 5'3 the other 5'8. This robe has a very plush feel, and I liked the fabric quality. That said if you are buying it for someone who is somewhat petite, it will not fit even with the smallest size (S/M). Also, for someone 5'3 or 5'4 it will run rather long, which may not be socially acceptable.

Nice heavy weight and long.  I'm 5 ft 6, and the large length goes to mid calf. After just a few weeks, and haven't washed it yet, I'm finding long loose threads.  Hope it's just the overstitching on the border!  Bought the dark blue - color seems true to the picture.

I love how it feels and the material is heavy like I like.  But it's huge.  I wrap it and the pocket is in front.  But it's a robe and I can work with it.  A good deal for the price.
