    Cheap, in a bad way.

It's a good-looking jacket, but it is made of extraordinarily cheap leather. The second time I wore it the outside pocket completely ripped and the jacket is pretty much ruined. In the interest of full disclosure, I have a physical disability, so when I put my hands in the pockets I put more stress on it than the average person. But, in my opinion, no jacket (especially leather) should tear from just that. I am not the hulk, after all.TLF is refusing to give me a refund, so I won't be buying from them again.

It's genuine leather as far as I can tell doing a moisture test and scrutinizing the surface for imperfections. Faux leather will have a uniform texture, this jacket does not. The fit is a bit smaller around the arms. Lining is isn't the best polyester, but you can always take it to a tailor. Great jacket.
