I don't recommend using the lag bolts that come with them. Instead use carriage bolts with lock nuts and washers to hold them in place. The wheel material seems to be a hard material versus a softer rubber wheel which is good if you have a very heavy load. The problem I see with the wheel itself is that they probably will not last on rough surfaces because of the wheel material. I believe they are more for a smooth concrete surface versus a asphalt surface. The asphalt will probably be very rough for the material the wheel itself is made of and wear them down like very rough sand paper. They are a fairly hard wheel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wheels are good, locking and baseplate leave a bit to be desired *by B***L on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on June 22, 2020* The wheels were bought for a mobile miter saw stand and a table saw stand. I ordered and received all 8 casters.The locking mechanism is relatively easy to use when locking and unlocking the caster. The locking mechanism locks both the wheel from rolling and the spindle from turning. However, there is still a bit of slop after the caster is locked. Additionally, if the caster is locked in between "good" positions, it is possible to rotate the caster until it slips (and audibly clicks) into a good position and then is mostly immobile.Finally, while the baseplates are relatively thick (~1/8" ), they are not flat. In my case, one is slightly bowed in both directions, while others are twisted slightly.
