One 8qt bag is enough to fill about two 72 cell count seedling trays. My peppers germinated within just a few days, and this has enough nutrients to last the plant until transplant, could also be used for transplants from the seed cells into 3-4" pots until ready for final soil mix (raised bed mix from COM is what I use). However, I will be buying a bigger bag next time.
