I have very thick and very straight hair and have never been able to get waves/curls to stay in my hair with more traditional heat tools. Even when getting my hair professionally done, my curls came out after a couple of hours. These somehow make my hair wavy for days! It’s a little tricky to get the hang of, but I’ve found that it’s easier with damp hair. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Hook doesn’t work making these difficult to use!! *by N***Y on March 14, 2021* Would be 5 stars but the hook which was supposed to be 3 pieces- 1 with a hook, 1 middle connector, and 1 end piece, ours was a hook and 2 end pieces so it only made a short hook which doesn’t go the length of these long rollers so they are difficult to use and I often pulled my daughter’s hair trying to get it through to the end. So I’ll have to try to figure something out next time to make it work better.
