They look very smart and they are very cheap. The latter is probably what they should be judged on. The leather is very thin and this is probably my biggest issue. The sides bend easily so I really need a shoehorn to put them on. It gives a cheap and shoddy impression and I am afraid my feet will get cold wearing them or that they don't protect me well enough from the elements. They look to me like the manufacturer has been strongly inspired by the design of a more expensive shoe eg. like Dr Martens or Ecco. When you look at them from a distance they look great and I would say also on your feet, but when wearing them they give a cheap impression, eg. flimsy and lightweight. I guess the equivalent is like buying a Dior handbag you buy a cheap copy. From a distance it might look ok, it might also fulfill a basic need, but when touching it, you just feel the cheap quality and it is it not the real thing.However, I might be too harsh. If money is tight and you want a smart looking pair of shoes that also look good on you these will do. However, I imagine that instead of serving you say 2 years, you should be happy if they still look good in 6 months. Nevertheless, I don't mind wearing them as I think they look good on me and the thin leather is not too much of a problem in the summer. Had I bought a similar branded pair that would likely have cost 5 times as much. I might even buy a new pair when these wear out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They look good when new. The soles are flat and rippled and are a reasonable thickness. The uppers are leather, but quite thin leather, with an artificial lining material.
