I can't say that it really did anything for me, I still felt hungry as always, and I don't really think it was the reason for any weight loss. I lost 6lbs but I also started counting calories which I've never done before in my entire life and I started that a few days before I got the pills. The reason I really stopped taking them was that it caused a "rushing" sound in my left ear. This started a day after I began taking these and continued on and off for the two weeks. I finally couldn't take it anymore and stopped taking them. I am an emotional eater and needed something to keep my cravings in check. I'm talking the kind of cravings for high-sugar, high-fat foods that are subliminal, instinctual, and impossible to ignore without distracting yourself or physically removing yourself from access to them. Garcinia cambogia has finally helped me beat it after years of struggling and frustration.My results (yours will vary depending on your muscle mass/metabolism, exercise regimen, and diet):-I have lost 4-5lbs in the three weeks I have been taking garcinia cambogia. I take it roughly according to the package instructions, a little before my lunch meal and dinner meal with water (if you skip the water, you might be hiccupping powder until you drink some!), but I don't time it and occasionally skip it altogether if I don't feel as though I need it at that particular time.-Before starting use, I ate roughly 1200-1500 calories per day with cheat days of 1500-2200 once per week and was losing weight at the rate of about 1lb every 2 weeks. With the supplement, I am able to cut most junk food out of my diet while maintaining nutrient-dense, healthy meals. Calories that I used to waste on sugary foods can now go toward proteins, complex carbs, and fruit.-My energy levels have taken a slight downward turn. If this happens to you, I recommend cycling your use of the supplement (i.e. taking days off to allow your body to recover from the calorie deficit). This will slow your weight loss but make the process much more comfortable, so you'll be more likely to stick with it and feel as though you're reaching healthier, more sustainable goals.Specific things I have noticed about this product:-It takes a few days to take full effect. The first couple days I took it, I didn't notice any difference in my appetite, energy, or anything else whatsoever. After that, I gradually noticed a reduction in my cravings that lasts for about 4 hours after ingestion.-It cuts cravings, not necessarily hunger. If my body needs fuel, this won't change it. What it does change is what I want to put in my mouth. Where I was craving cookies before taking the supplement, when it kicks in I'm just hungry and not craving anything in particular. It helps you make healthy eating decisions without getting distracted by your cravings.-When you do eat, you eat less. However in my experience, there is only a slight change from my hunger levels prior to starting a garcinia cambogia regimen.
