Review: Perfect on glass. - I notice that this has split reviews with some saying it doesn’t stick. I wanted something for the shower - I have porcelain tiles and the are smooth, I also have a glass enclosure. The dish sticks fast to the glass - it’s where I wanted it so I’m happy. It won’t stick to the porcelain, I guess because those tiles have micro gaps in them which will of course allow air into the suction gap and then it will fall off. So my advice is, if you want to mount this on glass - it’ll work well. If you can, make sure the room is really warm when you mount it. As the air cools, the suction gets stronger. I notice that this has split reviews with some saying it doesn’t stick. I wanted something for the shower - I have porcelain tiles and the are smooth, I also have a glass enclosure. The dish sticks fast to the glass - it’s where I wanted it so I’m happy. It won’t stick to the porcelain, I guess because those tiles have micro gaps in them which will of course allow air into the suction gap and then it will fall off. So my advice is, if you want to mount this on glass - it’ll work well. If you can, make sure the room is really warm when you mount it. As the air cools, the suction gets stronger. I’ve had to tighten the screw a couple of times, but that’s no bother. It’s sold and isn’t going anywhere. But if you mount it on anything that might have even slight texture or impurities that will allow air in, any suction fitting won’t work. This once included.
