I have a iOttie OneTouch Qi charger mount but wanted to mount it using the disc drive. I purchased this mount and removed the actual phone holder from the base. I had done this with a previous mount but it didn't fit snug enough into my disc slot. I thought maybe this one would be better since it has variant rubber shims to fit different sized opening better. At first, it fit nice and snug with the thickest shim but after a few weeks it has lost it's snugness. It seems that after a short period of time of keeping pressure in the disc slot, it has loosened up to the point where it shakes make like the last one did. I've tried removing and resetting it and I can't get it back to the tight fit it had the first time.
