It is very deep seated, meaning if you have short legs like me, it won't fit so well. However, if you have long legs, the ottoman will not be far away enough for you to be truly comfortable. I use it daily and am satisfied with the purchase. It's pretty well made and putting it together is not very hard. (be careful not to pinch the cable like I did, under the support bar, it will interfere with the ottoman operation) All in all it's a good chair and with the ottoman extended, I have enough room to have both of my Chihuahuas on my lap at the same time! I would not have been able to work without having some sort of device to prop my leg up on during the day. Although the foot prop part was a little short, i was able to put a box at the end to put my foot on. The chair was comfortable but the arms are low and are not conducive to work a lot on a keyboard.
