No one can see in but I close them in case someone gets right up to the window and peeks into a crack where I might not have cut the size perfectly. So, the biggest challenge I had was trying to pull the backing off, it took me a long time with each. When I do the other window, I will peel, then use my template, and I will make sure to leave something small between the backing and the window film (a sticky?) so I don't take five minutes each time trying to separate the back from the film.
