Sorry for the confusion. **Q: In the instruction manual it says never use metal tips. (Aren't steel tips the same thing?) Confused...** A: Yes, metal tips and steel tips ARE the same thing. You never want to use either on an electric board. You want to use plastic tips. **Q: What size is the power plugging head?** A: I don't know. I purchased this several years ago. If I find out I will let you know. **Q: Does bounce out mean** A: If the question is, "What does bounce out mean," then it is when you throw a dart, and you are expecting it to stick in the board, but it doesn't. If you hit a valid scoring location on the board, it will usually trigger the scoring mechanism.
