As it's name and appearance suggest, the book uses the same format as the older book. Even though the Internet can provide words, basic and tabs to practically any song, I like this book, and not just because I'm nostalgic. The Rise Again Songbook presents a curated list of songs in compact form under handy categories. Browsing through the lists makes me want to grab my guitar on practically every page. I can skip or skim categories I'm not interested in. The Internet can do most of that, but I like the book's editorial sensibilities, which are similar to the original book. The result is a wonderful song list. I have spent an hour looking through the book so far, and I'm just 30 pages in.
