It works, but the supply seems to target exactly 12.0 volts under load. I wish it was closer to 12.5 to 12.6V to maintain a charge in a lead acid battery, but that was probably not the intention of the supply so I can't rate it low because of that. Just a note to anyone trying to do the same: It'll power the heater just fine, but the battery will be basically dead at exactly 12V. I used this to replace the Govee string-light outdoor 24v wall-wart, which is not hermetically sealed and fills with water until failure.
