The box even gives you ideas of other uses. The thing I really like about this is how large they are! These things are HUGE! Much bigger than the ones you can buy at the big box stores! The blankets are 47"x47". When I had a baby he was VERY long and grew very quickly! I thankfully acquired a blanket from the hospital to swaddle him in! The other ones just did not work! This one will work for any size baby! And we all know how much they just love to be swaddled!! That feeling of being enclosed! These are a very natural cotton muslin that is like a cheesecloth almost. It's got a gauzy appearance and feeling. Perfect for swaddling that newborn! The images silkscreened on the blankets is adorable. One blanket has yellow owls and the other one has green owls.
