I have a size 8 womens and used this when I hurt my foot. It will not fit my boyfriends foot and he is a mens size 9. **Q: Is this covered by insurance?** A: Not through amazon you would have to go through a specialty store that have them stocked but to be honest I doubt Insurance pay for it I had to pay out of pocket **Q: i wear size 8. do i need small for this?** A: Depends if you are ordering for a Man or Woman.. Small fits a women's 6-8, Medium fits Men's 7.5-10.5 **Q: Men's shoe size 8-8.5, is small the correct size to buy?** A: NO, MEDIUM Mens 7-10.5 / Womens 8.5-12 ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ No es bota larga *by on Reviewed in Mexico 14 January 2025* No es tan larga como la imagen, sin embargo para mi lesión funciona perfecta, no me lastima la piel. Tiene forro adentro, es muy suave y acolchonada. ### ⭐⭐ Not built to last, costly for flimsiness of parts *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 August 2018* I have had this boot about 6 weeks or so but I wore it only for three then stopped when I thought my stress fracture had healed enough. After a while without it, it became clear this wasn’t the case so I’ve been wearing it again for a week after the NHS one I was given by A&E when they reviewed me also broke on me. The rubber flange connecting the 2 rigid plastic sections of the protective top-piece are split almost half way through! On both sides! I have been walking on crutches the last 2 weeks so hardly very mobile. Fracture boots are designed to be worn for periods of 6 weeks or more like the plaster casts they replace. 4 weeks of walking on it is hardly enough! For the cost, 4 weeks of use is not enough! I would like to ask for a replacement or a refund so I can secure a better alternative but I can’t find a Contact Seller option on the order.I gave it 2 stars purely for the convenience of it when it worked. But who recovers from a bone fracture in just 4 was weeks?! 4 weeks in, I wouldn’t even give it 1 star as I am now scared to walk on it as if it breaks when I’m at work I’m stuck with nothing! ## Frequently Bought Together - Ossur Rebound Air Walker Boot with Compression Adjustable Comfortable Straps & Air Pump Rocker Bottom | For Ankle Sprains, Stable Fractures, Tendon Sprains & Post-Operative Rehab | (Low Top, Small) - EVENup The Authentic Shoe Balancer Size Small for use with Walking Boot or leg length discrepancy.
