Do you import the actual ingredients?** A: Hi there, thank you for your question, our vitamin D3 is sourced from Lanolin. Our vitamin K2 is sourced from soybeans, both are imported from China and manufactured here in the UK in ISO and GMP accredited facilities. All of our ingredients are tested to ensure there safety and quality. **Q: i thought lanolin came from sheeps wool so how can that be vegan? Doesn't soy come from soya beans? you say the product is soy free** A: Yes, lanolin comes from sheep, but the Vit D3 in the form of cholecalciferol is extracted from the lanolin, and as such is just a complex molecule, which is neither vegetarian nor vegan - it is an organic molecule (formula C27 H44 O C=carbon,H=hydrogen, O=oxygen). And similarly, the Vitamin K2 is extracted from the soy beans, but again the K2 is an organic molecule (formula C31 H40 O2 C=carbon,H=hydrogen, O=oxygen) and it does not contain soy as such, although it is extracted from it. Therefore it is correct to state that the product is soy free, as soy it its original form is NOT contained in the capsule. They are also made in the UK (from imported ingredients). The capsules are quite large, but I find them easy to swallow. I started taking Vitamin D as I had read that aching joints may be due to a deficiency, and I had been spending more time indoors than I should have. That has pretty much gone since taking it. Since then, I have seen it widely recommended due to the Covid-19 restrictions keeping more people at home.
