These do. In fact, these are the same flowers as other brands - they're just covered in sparkling granulated sugar to make them pretty & help prevent oxidation. (That's why these are a brighter red color - closer to their fresh color - while other brands are deep red, almost brown color. Other brands undergo more oxidation.) Besides sparkling, brighter color and a sweeter flavor, the sugar coating gives these a firmer, almost brittle texture. BUT... fear not! If you prefer the more tart flavor and chewy texture of other brands, just wash off the sugar. Seriously... put it under running water for a couple of seconds and VOILA!! It tastes & chews just like the others!
