Review: Great lard! Thank you! - I really love cooking with this lard! This lard does not have a heavy tasting flavor that over-powers, does have a nice, neutral taste and odor, good quality and perfect, pure, smooth texture. I've used it to lightly coat baking dishes or lightly coating a cooking pan just enough to prevent sticking. I've used it for frying and for making pie crust and they turn out perfect in taste and texture. I love that this not have a nasty lard taste of the products so readily available in our local stores, it does not have the nasty goose grease flavoring which is available locally that over powers everything that is made with the goose grease flavored stuff which I find gross! This lard I think is great! I love the neutral flavor of this lard that allows the flavor of the food to shine through despite the fact that it's lard. Thank you for having this item! I do recommend this lard!
