They are indeed bright because they are so focused due to the aspheric lens system. I measured 10100 lux at one meter distance on low beam. On high beam they measured 21650 lux at one meter. The strobe function is about 8 hertz. The led light color looks to be above 6000 kelvin. This would be a good match for the cheaper LED motorcycle headlights you can purchase on Amazon. The main aluminum housing is hard anodized on the units I received. The ring which screws on to hold the lens was not anodized so I polished it with Mothers Aluminum polish to give it a chrome plated appearance. If you have any problems with your order, the vendor will make it right quickly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They mounted nicely next to the turn signals *by R***K on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 21, 2016* I try never to ride at night, just wanted more visibility during the day. I got 2 of these and wired them directly to the battery, and a rocker switch on the handlebar, which allows me to turn them on or off without starting the bike. They mounted nicely next to the turn signals, although I had to buy longer bolts. They add a lot more visibility than my headlight alone, of course, and I use one or both on strobe....they don't always stay in sync, but you can get them to do that if you want. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 16, 2016* This product is really good, Light is bright and you can see it in the day time as well. The only thing what I don't like is an adjustment. It would be good if you could adjust horizontaly.
