I ordered this plier and it was a big help installing the retainer ring quickly. The plier looks and feels to be well made and has a notch in each tip to keep the tool from slipping off the spring eyelets. The con: it was hard to release the notches because they fit snuggly in the spring eyelets. I used a flat blade screwdriver to hold a spring eyelet in place while removing one side of the tool. Then the other side came right out. This tool will be a big help for future repairs and I can actually think of a few other uses for it.
