It is solid and stable, far better than the original magnetic base that would flop around and slide into positions that would blind me while directing traffic. This works wonders. In fact, our team has purchased approx 15 GA lights with this new (well new to me) base as an essential safety item for our team. It will now be base safety equipment provided to new recruits.

A: If you can really find it for that cheap on a legit website buy it. But I just looked at the website and it is 79 to 139
