Love the SharkBite product. Great build quality. Used the SharkBite connectors to install my new Rheem water heater lines in place of the old soldered copper fittings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A decent choice for diy plumbing

Pretty easy, proper preparation is critical. You must debur copper to avoid damage to the o-ring. Shark sells a tool for this which also shows how deep to push the connection. I’m using this to add a second inline shut off to my irrigation system as the original is not completely stopping the flow.
