I don't want anyone to ever think it's a handgun, but neon yellow helps with that. It has a lanyard hole (no lanyard included). I own paracord, so no biggie for me. Takes 3xAA batteries. It does feel stiff, I'm going to open/close it a bunch of times to see if it loosens up. Using cord, you could hang the light from the top bracket. I just like this flashlight.
